USDZ is a file format developed by Pixar Animation Studios, based on the Universal Scene Description (USD) framework. It is specifically designed for the efficient and compact packaging of 3D models, including geometry, textures, and animations, into a single file. USDZ is used primarily for augmented reality (AR) applications and provides a convenient way to share and display 3D content across different platforms.
