Vertices are the fundamental points in 3D space that define the shape and structure of a 3D model or object. Each vertex represents a position in the coordinate system, usually specified by x, y, and z coordinates. By manipulating the positions of vertices, modelers can create and shape complex geometries. The connections between vertices define the model's edges and faces, ultimately creating the object's surface.
